Terms Of Service

Last updated: 26 October 2026

1. About these Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of dealfuel.io, its subdomains, and any website, app, software, call or service operated by DealFuel Recruitment Ltd ("DealFuel", "we", "us", "our") that links to these Terms (together, the "Services").

DealFuel Recruitment Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17142539, with its registered office at The Old Foundry, Bath Street, Walsall, England, WS1 3BZ.

By creating an account, joining the network, booking a call, placing an order or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which forms part of them. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

If you are a client and have signed a separate client agreement or order form with us, that agreement prevails over these Terms where the two conflict.

Please read sections 11 and 12 carefully. They limit our liability.

2. Eligibility

To use the Services you must:

  • be at least 18 years old;

  • have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract; and

  • if you act for a business, have authority to bind that business to these Terms.

In these Terms, "you" means you and, where relevant, the business you act for.

3. Accounts

  • You must give us accurate, current and complete information, and keep it up to date.

  • You must not impersonate anyone or misrepresent your experience, track record or credentials.

  • You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account.

  • Accounts are personal. You may not share, transfer or sell your account or membership.

  • Tell us immediately at support@dealfuel.io if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.

4. Our Services

DealFuel operates a private, vetted network of sales professionals ("Members") and introduces them to companies hiring sales talent ("Clients"). The Services may include:

  • membership of the DealFuel network, including access to roles, resources and community features;

  • vetting and assessment, including interviews and AI-powered mock sales calls (DealFloor);

  • matching, shortlisting and introduction of Members to Clients; and

  • related training, content and tools.

DealFuel is an introducer. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, any employment or contractor relationship is directly between the Member and the Client, and DealFuel is not the employer of any Member.

We may add, change or withdraw features of the Services at any time. Where a change materially reduces what you have paid for, we will tell you in advance and you may cancel.

5. Membership (for Members)

Fees and billing

  • Membership fees, billing frequency and what each tier includes are shown at the point of purchase. All prices are in US dollars unless stated otherwise, and exclude applicable taxes.

  • Payment is taken in advance by card or another method we accept, processed by our third-party payment provider.

  • Recurring memberships renew automatically at the end of each billing period, and we will charge your payment method on file, until you cancel.

  • We may change membership prices. We will give you at least 14 days' notice by email before a change applies to your next renewal, and you may cancel before then.

Cancellation

  • You can cancel a recurring membership at any time from your account or by emailing support@dealfuel.io. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you keep access until then.

  • To avoid the next charge, cancel before your renewal date.

Refunds

  • Membership fees are non-refundable once a billing period has started, except where required by law or stated otherwise at the point of purchase.

  • If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, you have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of purchase. If you ask us to give you access during that period, you agree we may start immediately, and if you then cancel we may deduct a proportionate amount for the Services already provided. Once the Services are fully provided, the right to cancel ends.

  • Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.

No guarantee of placement

Membership gives you access to the network and our process. It does not guarantee that you will be shortlisted, introduced, interviewed, offered a role or hired. Decisions to hire are made by Clients, not DealFuel.

Member responsibilities

  • Everything you tell us and Clients about your experience, results, earnings and references must be true and verifiable.

  • You must attend calls and interviews you book, or give reasonable notice if you cannot.

  • You must tell us promptly if you accept an offer from a Client we introduced you to, or from any business connected to that Client.

  • We may remove you from the network, without refund, if you misrepresent yourself, behave unprofessionally toward a Client, or breach these Terms.

6. Placements (for Clients)

Fees and payment

  • Placement fees, payment timing and what is included are set out in your order form, invoice or the checkout page at the time of purchase.

  • Unless stated otherwise, fees are payable in advance, in US dollars, and exclude applicable taxes, which you are responsible for.

  • Late payments may incur interest and reasonable collection costs, to the extent permitted by law. We may pause work on your search until overdue amounts are paid.

Our guarantee

  • Where your order includes our placement guarantee, we aim to present suitable candidates within the timeframe stated in your order (typically 7 working days from receiving your completed brief).

  • If a placed candidate leaves or is let go within the guarantee period stated in your order, we will provide a replacement or a refund as set out in that order.

  • The guarantee applies only if you have paid all fees on time, provided an accurate brief, given candidates a reasonable onboarding, and notified us in writing within 14 days of the candidate leaving. It does not apply where the role, compensation or terms materially changed from the brief, or where the candidate left because of your breach of law or contract.

  • The full guarantee terms in your order form take priority over this summary.

Introductions and non-circumvention

  • Candidate profiles, assessments and contact details we share with you are confidential and provided only for the role you hired us for.

  • If you, or any business connected to you, engage a Member we introduced (as an employee, contractor or otherwise) within 12 months of the introduction, you must tell us and pay the applicable placement fee, unless already paid.

  • You must not pass on candidate details to any third party without our written consent.

Your responsibilities as an employer

  • You are solely responsible for your hiring decisions, and for the terms, pay, commission, supervision and conduct of anyone you engage.

  • You are responsible for complying with all laws that apply to you as an employer or engager, including right-to-work checks, employment, tax, anti-discrimination, data protection, and sales and marketing laws.

  • You must give us accurate information about the role, compensation and your business, and must not use the Services to recruit for any unlawful, misleading or predatory offer.

7. Acceptable use

You must not, and must not help anyone else to:

  • use the Services for anything unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive or harmful;

  • harass, threaten, discriminate against or abuse any Member, Client or member of our team;

  • scrape, crawl, copy, download or extract content, candidate data or Client data, except as the Services expressly allow;

  • hack, probe, overload or interfere with the security or operation of the Services, or introduce malware;

  • reverse engineer, frame, mirror or resell the Services, or use them to build or benchmark a competing product;

  • send spam or unsolicited messages to anyone you met through the Services;

  • upload content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, infringing or misleading; or

  • upload sensitive information such as government ID numbers, payment card or bank details, passwords, or health information, unless we specifically ask for it.

8. Intellectual property

  • The Services and all content in them, including text, graphics, logos, videos, training materials, software and the DealFloor simulations, are owned by DealFuel or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws.

  • We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Services for their intended purpose while you comply with these Terms.

  • You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, publish, modify or commercially exploit any part of the Services without our written permission.

  • "DealFuel", "DealFloor" and our logos are our trademarks. You may not use them without our written permission.

9. Your content, feedback and testimonials

  • You keep ownership of content you submit, such as your CV or profile. You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, host, copy and share it as needed to provide the Services, including sharing your profile with Clients.

  • If you give us feedback or ideas, we may use them freely without obligation to you.

  • If you give us a testimonial, review, photo or video and agree that we may publish it, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use it, with your name and role, in our marketing. We may edit it for length and clarity but will not change its meaning. You can ask us to stop future use at any time.

  • You confirm you have the right to submit any content you provide, and that it is accurate and lawful.

10. Results disclaimer

  • Testimonials, case studies and placement statistics reflect the experience of particular Members and Clients. They are not typical and are not a promise of results.

  • Outcomes depend on many factors outside our control, including your experience, the role, the market and the other party's decisions.

  • For Members, we do not guarantee any role, income or commission. For Clients, we do not guarantee any level of sales, revenue or performance from a candidate, beyond any guarantee expressly set out in your order.

  • We do not give legal, tax, financial or employment advice.

11. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • the Services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability and non-infringement;

  • we do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure or free of viruses;

  • we vet Members carefully, but we do not guarantee the accuracy of information Members or Clients provide, or the conduct or performance of any Member or Client; and

  • we are not responsible for third-party websites, platforms or tools linked from or used with the Services.

12. Limitation of liability

  • Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law.

  • Subject to the point above, we are not liable for any loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill, data or opportunity, or for any indirect or consequential loss, however arising.

  • Subject to the first point above, our total liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to the Services or these Terms is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

  • If you are a consumer, we are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill, and the limits above apply only as far as the law allows.

13. Indemnity

If you use the Services for business purposes, you agree to indemnify DealFuel, its directors, employees and contractors against all claims, losses, costs and reasonable legal fees arising from:

  • your breach of these Terms;

  • your violation of any law or third-party right; or

  • for Clients, your engagement, treatment or dismissal of any Member.

14. Suspension and termination

  • You may stop using the Services and close your account at any time, subject to the cancellation terms above.

  • We may suspend or terminate your account or access, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, misrepresent yourself, or put other users or DealFuel at risk.

  • If we terminate without cause, we will refund any prepaid fees for the unused period.

  • On termination, your right to use the Services ends, and any outstanding fees remain payable. Sections that by their nature should survive, including sections 6 (non-circumvention and payment), 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 16, continue to apply.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when they last changed. If a change is material, we will notify you by email or on the Services at least 14 days before it takes effect. If you do not agree, you may cancel before the change applies. Continuing to use the Services after that date means you accept the updated Terms.

16. Governing law and disputes

  • If you have a complaint, please contact legal@dealfuel.ai first. We will try to resolve it informally within 30 days.

  • These Terms, and any dispute arising from them or the Services, are governed by the laws of [England and Wales].

  • The courts of [England and Wales] have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of the country where you live, and you keep the protection of any mandatory consumer laws there.

  • Any claim must be brought individually, not as part of a class or representative action, to the extent permitted by law.

17. General

  • Force majeure: we are not liable for any delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control.

  • Assignment: we may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to another organisation, for example on a sale or restructuring. You may not transfer yours without our written consent.

  • No waiver: if we do not enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later.

  • Severability: if any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.

  • Entire agreement: these Terms, our Privacy Policy and any order form or client agreement form the entire agreement between you and us about the Services.

  • Electronic communications: you agree that notices, agreements and other communications we send electronically satisfy any requirement that they be in writing.

  • Third-party rights: no one other than you and DealFuel has any right to enforce these Terms.
